I have interrupted a viewing of "The French Lieutenant's Woman" to watch Larry King interview the President and the First Lady. So far, during the first 28 minutes, we've been treated to Larry's efforts to ask the President to croon "I'm Sorry, So Sorry." Seriously. And each time the President patiently explains that no, he's not sorry for going into Iraq, and no, he's not concerned about the public opinion polls (and is too well bred to brand the polls what they are, which is simply an indication of the current success of the anti-Bush media onslaught instead of an indication of serious thinking about current affairs), and no, he's not losing his resolve.
Someone needs to tell Larry that no means no.
Anyway, the President looks good for a 60-year-old under the kind of attack that he lives under.

Always have liked Peter Bronson, and hated to lose him from our local paper. We get one of his columns there now and then, but I don't read the rag as much as I used to, so I don't know how often. Anyway, that was a great column.
Larry King probably wouldn't like it, tho'.
